Overview

Duck & Down

Our general purpose Chinese White and Grey Duck Feather, the simplest form of feather, give good fill power and offer a sense of luxury compared to synthetic fillings. A higher quality feather, our european range comes with a much softer handle due to less stalk and a slightly higher percentage of down.

Applications

Duck & Down

Sofas and scatter cushions are key elements in home décor, combining both comfort and style. A sofa serves as the centerpiece of a living space, offering a place to relax, entertain, or simply unwind. Scatter cushions, on the other hand, add an extra layer of coziness while offering a way to introduce color, texture, and personality to the room. They can be easily swapped out to match changing seasons or design trends, allowing for quick updates to the space.

Duvets and pillows are essential components of a comfortable and restful sleep environment. A duvet, typically filled with down, feathers, or synthetic materials, provides warmth and insulation while being lightweight and easy to manage. It serves as a soft, breathable cover that helps regulate body temperature during sleep. Pillows, on the other hand, are crucial for proper neck and head support, helping to maintain spinal alignment and comfort.

Are they Sustainable?

As a by-product of the global food industry, feathers serve as a sustainable filling option with a lower carbon footprint compared to synthetic fibres. Repurposing feathers that would otherwise be discarded reduces waste and utilises fewer resources in production.
